HIR Enrollment Period

Reminding everyone the enrollment period for 2024 is Nov. 15 - Jan. 31: Submit Facility Agreements via the new HIR ONLINE form and Confidentiality & Security Statement - same paper form.

Race Codes

HIR was enhanced to accept additional race codes - 28 total (go to Forms tab/HIR Data Exchange Specifications Section). Providers try to obtain more than one race from patients before submitting patient records to HIR. These additional race values will help improve understanding of vaccination coverage within population subgroups and identify potential disparities and needs.
